Agriculture
Bachelor's

Website
The goal of Agricultural Science is to develop and improve all stages of the agri-food chain, from the production of raw materials to the processing and distribution of safe, high-quality food. As a bridge between the natural, biological, technological, and socio-economic sciences, Agricultural Science covers a wide range of scientific fields that require an interdisciplinary approach. The complexity of issues related to sustainable production, environmental protection, animal and plant health, as well as food safety, necessitates the acquisition of both specialized and foundational knowledge, as well as the ability to synthesize and apply it. Achieving these educational goals for agronomists is made possible at the Department of Agriculture, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki thanks to the high scientific caliber of its faculty, its modern equipment, and its extensive research activities, as well as the presence of one of the largest and most historic educational farms among all agricultural departments and schools worldwide.
