Civil Engineering Bachelor's
Bachelor's
The fundamental principles upon which the curriculum is based—and which also constitute general observations—are as follows:
The civil engineering degree must remain undivided and unified and correspond to a five-year advanced program of study. Therefore, students must be provided with the fundamental scientific knowledge in all fields.
Students must be given the opportunity to specialize in one of the core areas of civil engineering. Each of the four fields within the Department of Civil Engineering corresponds to a core area of specialization.
The practice of civil engineering today requires in-depth knowledge in a specific field.
University studies must now be regarded as the cornerstone of a continuous learning process that will evolve throughout one’s life, as the rapid advancement of technology and science contributes to the rapid obsolescence of knowledge when it remains at the initial stage of undergraduate learning.
