The primary mission of the undergraduate program of the Department of Medicine at the School of Health Sciences of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is to provide students with a comprehensive, high-quality education, with the aim of developing a highly qualified medical scientific workforce. The program also seeks to foster a culture of research from the undergraduate level onwards, through student participation in research activities, as well as the production of significant scientific work in collaboration with research centers in Greece and abroad. Particular emphasis is placed on instilling the ethical values that govern the medical profession, as well as on acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills for the diagnosis and effective management of basic medical problems.
