The primary mission of the undergraduate program in the Department of Primary Education at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is to train teachers with a democratic consciousness who oppose all forms of racism, sexism, and social discrimination, and who actively contribute to the creation of a just, free, and equal society. The program aims to cultivate educators with a positive attitude toward the transformation of education, respecting the pluralism of theories and practices, as well as the development of scientific knowledge and pedagogical skills, so that they can apply pedagogical, psychological, and social theories in practice. At the same time, the program aims to foster individuals with a humanistic outlook, respect for nature and different cultures, and active participation in the community.
