The primary mission of the undergraduate program at the Department of Statistics of the Athens University of Economics and Business is to provide a high-quality education in statistics and data science, with the aim of understanding uncertainty and utilizing quantitative methods for rational decision-making. The program seeks to develop a strong theoretical foundation in probability and statistics, as well as practical skills in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data, so that graduates can apply statistical methods in a variety of scientific and professional fields and contribute to contemporary research and the job market.
