The primary mission of the undergraduate program in the Department of Architectural Engineering at Democritus University of Thrace is to provide a comprehensive scientific and artistic education in the field of architecture, with the aim of training architects with a high level of knowledge and creative skills. The program seeks to foster an understanding and synthesis of architectural design, construction technology, and theory, while fostering critical thinking, aesthetic perception, and the ability to address complex problems of the built environment, with respect for people, society, and the natural environment.
