Upon completion of their studies and the award of the Degree of the Department of Social Policy of the Democritus University of Thrace, graduates acquire the ability to solve problems by proposing alternative solutions for addressing social issues, to collect primary data in order to record, assess, and evaluate the parameters of social phenomena, to design social protection interventions and evaluate implemented policies, to participate in broader teams involved in the design, organization, evaluation, and implementation of social policy, to utilize modern technologies in communication and information in order to update their knowledge, to collect secondary data, and to adhere to scientific/research ethics in the performance of their duties.
