The objective of the undergraduate study program of the Department of Social Work of the Hellenic Mediterranean University is to educate social workers capable of responding to contemporary and constantly evolving social needs. The program combines theoretical and applied knowledge for the prevention and management of social problems, applied social research, and the design, development, and evaluation of social interventions and programs. At the same time, it emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach, specialization in social work, and practical training, enabling graduates to effectively work in social services and organizations.
