Upon completion of the programme, students are expected to:
Be able to use the Spanish language fluently and effectively for educational and research purposes
Have acquired fundamental academic knowledge of the historical, social, and cultural development of the Spanish-speaking world (Spain and Latin America) from Prehistory to the modern era
Have studied representative works of Spanish and Spanish-American intellectual production (literature, arts, sciences), enabling them to teach these using both analytical and synthetic approaches
Have developed the ability to apply appropriate methodologies in order to understand and analyze topics within the field of study and the humanities more broadly
