The objective of the Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of History and Philosophy of Science of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens is to provide a solid interdisciplinary education that combines the historical and philosophical study of science, technology, and related scientific fields. The programme aims to develop broad knowledge and critical thinking, as well as an understanding of science as a complex historical, social, and cultural phenomenon. At the same time, it seeks to equip students with analytical, synthetic, problem-solving, and communication skills, enabling them to respond effectively to demanding and interdisciplinary professional environments.
