The Undergraduate Program in Nursing of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens aims to educate healthcare professionals capable of providing comprehensive, evidence-based, and high-quality nursing care. Graduates are able to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate care interventions for individuals, families, and communities, covering the full spectrum from prevention to rehabilitation and palliative care. They also develop skills in management and coordination of healthcare services, work effectively within interdisciplinary teams, and ensure the quality and safety of healthcare provision. They promote respect for human rights and diversity, while also educating and supporting patients. Furthermore, they are able to contribute to the production and dissemination of nursing knowledge through research and education, taking responsibility for their professional actions and recognizing the limits of their field of expertise.
