The Undergraduate Program in History and Archaeology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens focuses on the study of the past through historical and archaeological research.
Its main objectives are:
to understand human activity (politics, society, economy, culture) across all historical periods
to familiarize students with historical and archaeological sources and research methods
to develop critical thinking and scientific approaches to historical knowledge
to promote an interdisciplinary perspective combining history, archaeology, and art history
The program aims to train graduates with strong theoretical and methodological background, capable of working in education, research, and the cultural sector.
