Upon completion of the Undergraduate Program, students of the Department of Italian Language and Literature will have achieved the following learning outcomes:
• a better understanding of the structure of the Italian language
• a strong command of the Italian language for teaching, academic, and professional purposes
• an in-depth study of Italian literature, history, and culture
• the development of basic research skills in the fields of language and linguistics, as well as literature, culture, and history, based on the application of appropriate methodologies
• the acquisition of a high level of knowledge and pedagogical training in teaching the Italian language, with the ultimate goal of their integration into the labor market and the successful development of their professional careers.
