The Undergraduate Programme of the Department of Social Anthropology and History at the University of the Aegean aims to provide comprehensive and interdisciplinary education in the fields of Social Anthropology and History. The four-year programme, structured into eight academic semesters, combines theoretical training, research methodology, and the development of critical thinking, emphasizing the understanding of social, cultural, and historical phenomena. Its mission is to educate graduates with strong academic competence, research skills, and interdisciplinary perspectives, capable of contributing to research, education, culture, and social analysis at both national and international levels.
