The Undergraduate Programme of the Department of Sociology at the University of the Aegean aims to provide high-quality education in sociological theory, social research, and the analysis of contemporary social phenomena. The four-year programme, structured into eight academic semesters, combines theoretical training with research methodology, emphasizing the development of critical thinking, scientific analysis, and social awareness. Its mission is to educate social scientists with strong theoretical and methodological backgrounds, capable of contributing to research, social policy, education, and the understanding of social transformations.
