The Undergraduate Programme of the Department of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of the Aegean aims to provide comprehensive and modern education in food science and nutrition. The four-year programme, structured into eight academic semesters, combines theoretical training, laboratory education, and applied research in areas such as food technology, food safety and quality, nutrition, microbiology, and biotechnology. Its mission is to educate scientists with strong academic backgrounds and modern technological skills, capable of contributing to the improvement of quality of life, public health, and the sustainable development of the agri-food sector.
