The Undergraduate Programme of the Department provides its students with:
adequate knowledge of the sciences on which midwifery activities are based,
adequate knowledge of professional ethics and the relevant legal framework,
detailed knowledge of biological functions, anatomy, and physiology in the fields of midwifery and neonatal care, as well as knowledge of the relationship between human health and its natural and social environment,
clinical skills acquired in accredited institutions under the supervision of specialized midwifery staff, and
adequate knowledge regarding the education and collaboration with related health science professions.
