The Undergraduate Programme of the Department of Public and Community Health at the University of West Attica aims to provide modern and comprehensive education in the field of public and community health, emphasizing disease prevention, health promotion, and the reduction of health inequalities. The four-year programme, structured into eight academic semesters, combines theoretical knowledge, laboratory education, and applied practice in areas such as environmental health, epidemiology, health education, and community intervention. Its mission is to educate health professionals with strong academic competence, social awareness, and skills in designing and implementing public health policies, capable of addressing contemporary health challenges at both national and international levels.
