The Undergraduate Programme of the Department of Social Work at the University of West Attica aims to provide high-level education in social work and social care, combining theoretical knowledge, practical training, and scientific research. The four-year programme, structured into eight academic semesters, covers areas such as social policy, counselling, mental health, community intervention, and the protection of vulnerable social groups. Its mission is to educate social workers with strong academic competence, professional ethics, and social awareness, capable of contributing to social cohesion, citizen empowerment, and the promotion of social justice.
