The Undergraduate Programme of the Department of Economics at the University of Western Macedonia has a duration of eight (8) academic semesters and awards 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide high-level education in economics and the analysis of contemporary economic phenomena. It combines theoretical training, quantitative methods, and applied economic analysis in areas such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, finance, and business administration. Its mission is to educate economists with strong academic backgrounds, analytical skills, and critical thinking, capable of meeting the demands of the modern economy and labour market.
