The Undergraduate Programme of the Department of Statistics at the University of Western Macedonia, based in Grevena, has a duration of eight (8) academic semesters and awards 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide high-level education in statistics and its modern applications in economics, business, and research. It combines theoretical knowledge, laboratory training, and the use of specialized technologies and statistical software for data analysis. Its mission is to educate scientists with strong analytical and quantitative backgrounds, capable of processing, analysing, and interpreting data, making evidence-based decisions, and meeting the demands of the modern labour market and scientific research.
