The Undergraduate Programme of the Department of Mineral Resources Engineering at the University of Western Macedonia has a duration of ten (10) academic semesters and awards an Integrated Master degree corresponding to 300 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide high-level education in the exploitation, management, and protection of mineral and energy resources. It combines theoretical knowledge, laboratory specialization, and applied research in areas such as mining engineering, geology, environmental management, energy technology, and sustainable development. Its mission is to educate engineers with strong scientific and technological backgrounds, capable of meeting the modern demands of industry and society, with emphasis on innovation, safety, and environmental protection.
