The Undergraduate Study Program of the University of Thessaly aims to provide high-quality theoretical and practical education in the field of animal production and the agri-food sector. The main objective of the program is to develop scientific knowledge, technical skills, and professional competencies that enable graduates to effectively respond to modern challenges in livestock production and animal-origin food systems. The curriculum emphasizes the application of modern methods in animal nutrition, genetic improvement, reproduction, and livestock management, while also promoting animal welfare and environmental sustainability. At the same time, the program fosters innovation, entrepreneurship, and management skills for the effective administration of livestock enterprises, preparing graduates with immediate professional readiness and the ability for continuous scientific and professional development.
