The Undergraduate Study Program of the Department of Physics at the University of Thessaly has a duration of eight (8) semesters and aims to provide strong theoretical and experimental education in Physics and its modern applications. The program offers students a solid scientific background in core areas of physics, including classical and modern mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum physics, thermodynamics, optics, and solid-state physics, while also integrating mathematics, computational methods, and technological applications. Through laboratory training, research activities, and the development of analytical skills, students become familiar with scientific research methodology and complex problem-solving approaches. The curriculum promotes innovation, scientific thinking, and the connection between theory and real-world applications of physics in modern technology and society, preparing graduates for careers in education, research, industry, and high-technology sectors.
