The Undergraduate Study Program of the Department of Architecture at the University of Thessaly has a duration of five (5) academic years, equivalent to ten (10) semesters, and aims to provide comprehensive education in architectural design, urban planning, and the understanding of the built environment. The program combines theoretical knowledge, artistic creativity, and technical training, emphasizing architectural composition, history and theory of architecture, urban design, construction technology, and sustainable development. Through design studios, research activities, and interdisciplinary approaches, students develop creative, analytical, and technical skills that enable them to design functional, aesthetically refined, and environmentally responsible spaces. At the same time, the curriculum promotes innovation, social awareness, and the connection of architecture with contemporary cultural and environmental challenges, preparing graduates with a high level of scientific and professional competence in the field of architecture and design.
