The Undergraduate Study Program of the Department of Nursing at the University of Thessaly has a duration of eight (8) semesters and aims to provide comprehensive scientific and clinical education in the field of nursing science. The program combines theoretical teaching, laboratory training, and clinical practice, offering students knowledge and skills related to prevention, patient care, rehabilitation, and health promotion for individuals and communities. At the same time, emphasis is placed on modern nursing practice, bioethics, public health, patient communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration within healthcare systems. Through clinical training in hospitals and healthcare facilities, students gain practical experience and develop professional and research skills that meet the contemporary demands of healthcare services. The curriculum prepares graduates with a high level of scientific education and professional competence, enabling them to work in hospitals, health centers, public health organizations, and other healthcare institutions.
