The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of the University of Thessaly consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide modern scientific education in the fields of biochemistry, molecular biology, and biotechnology, with emphasis on understanding biological processes and applying innovative technologies in life sciences. The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge, laboratory training, and research activity, preparing graduates with a strong scientific background and skills for careers in research, industry, healthcare, biotechnology, and life sciences.
