The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of History, Archaeology and Social Anthropology of the University of Thessaly consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide comprehensive scientific education in the fields of History, Archaeology, and Social Anthropology, taking into account contemporary social and cultural complexity as well as the demands of academic research and the labour market. The curriculum seeks to develop strong theoretical and methodological foundations, research and analytical skills, critical thinking, ethical awareness, and interdisciplinary collaboration. At the same time, it enhances students’ ability to design and conduct research, use modern technologies and databases, and respond effectively to the requirements of contemporary scientific and professional practice.
