The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Language and Intercultural Studies of the University of Thessaly consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide interdisciplinary education in the fields of language, translation, communication, and intercultural understanding, with emphasis on the study of languages and cultures within a contemporary international environment. The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge, language training, and applied communication and translation skills, preparing graduates for careers in education, translation, cultural management, international communication, and intercultural services.
