The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Thessaly consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide modern scientific and technological education in the fields of informatics, telecommunications, and digital technologies, with emphasis on areas such as systems security, big data management, embedded systems, communication networks, and informatics education. The curriculum combines theoretical training, laboratory education, and applied research, preparing graduates with knowledge and skills in programming, software development, information systems, databases, internet technologies, networks, and telecommunications systems. At the same time, it develops analytical, design, and implementation skills for modern digital applications and services, responding to the demands of the digital economy and technological innovation.
