The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Speech and Language Therapy of the University of Ioannina consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide comprehensive scientific and clinical education in the field of speech and language therapy, with emphasis on the assessment, prevention, and rehabilitation of speech, language, voice, communication, and swallowing disorders. The curriculum combines theoretical training, laboratory and clinical education, as well as practical placement, preparing graduates with knowledge and skills for employment in healthcare, educational, and rehabilitation settings, as well as for participation in research and interdisciplinary collaboration within the health sciences.
