The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of History and Archaeology of the University of Ioannina consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide comprehensive scientific education in the fields of history and archaeology, with emphasis on understanding historical development, cultural heritage, and archaeological evidence from antiquity to the modern era. The curriculum combines theoretical training, research activity, and practical education, preparing graduates with knowledge and skills related to historical and archaeological research, cultural heritage management, excavation practices, and museology.
