The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Physics of the University of Ioannina consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide comprehensive and modern scientific education in the fundamental and applied fields of physics, with emphasis on understanding physical phenomena, developing analytical and experimental thinking, and applying scientific methods in research and technology. The curriculum combines theoretical training, laboratory education, and research activity, preparing graduates with knowledge and skills related to teaching, research, technological applications, and further postgraduate and doctoral studies.
