The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Philology of the University of Ioannina consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide comprehensive scientific education in the fields of Greek philology, linguistics, ancient and modern Greek literature, and literary studies. The curriculum combines theoretical training, research activity, and philological analysis, preparing graduates with knowledge and skills related to language, text interpretation, cultural heritage, teaching, and philological research. At the same time, it promotes critical thinking, scientific methodology, and cultural education.
