The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of the University of Ioannina consists of ten (10) academic semesters and corresponds to 300 ECTS credits, awarding an Integrated Master degree. The programme aims to provide modern interdisciplinary education in materials science and technology, with emphasis on the study, design, development, and application of advanced materials and technologies. The curriculum combines theoretical training, laboratory education, and research activity, preparing graduates with knowledge and skills related to electronic materials, nanotechnology, biomaterials, polymers, and composite materials, as well as their applications in industry, energy, healthcare, and modern technologies.
