The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Early Years Learning and Care of the University of Ioannina consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide modern scientific and pedagogical education in the field of education and care for infants and young children, with emphasis on children’s holistic development, well-being, and learning. The curriculum combines theoretical training, laboratory and practical education, as well as research activity, preparing graduates with knowledge and skills related to pedagogical support, the creation of appropriate learning environments, collaboration with families and institutions, and the implementation of modern educational and developmental approaches.
