The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Psychology of the University of Crete consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide comprehensive scientific education in the field of psychology, with emphasis on understanding human behaviour, cognitive and emotional processes, and mental health. The curriculum combines theoretical training, research activity, and practical education, preparing graduates with knowledge and skills related to psychological assessment, counselling, research, and the application of psychological interventions in educational, social, and clinical contexts. At the same time, it promotes critical thinking, scientific ethics, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
