The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Chemistry of the University of Crete consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide comprehensive and modern scientific education in the fundamental and applied fields of chemistry, with emphasis on understanding the structure, properties, and transformations of matter. The curriculum combines theoretical training, laboratory education, and research activity, preparing graduates with knowledge and skills related to chemical analysis, industry, pharmaceutical and environmental chemistry, education, and scientific research. At the same time, it promotes critical thinking, the use of modern technologies, and scientific ethics.
