The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Primary Education of the University of Crete consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide high-quality scientific and pedagogical education for the preparation of primary school teachers with modern knowledge, teaching skills, and social awareness. The curriculum combines theoretical training, teaching practice, and research activity, promoting the development of critical thinking, democratic values, and modern pedagogical approaches. At the same time, it prepares graduates to design and implement innovative teaching practices, utilize digital technologies, and respond effectively to the needs of a contemporary and inclusive school environment.
