The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics of the University of Crete consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide high-level scientific education in the fields of pure and applied mathematics, with emphasis on the development of analytical, critical, and synthetic thinking. The curriculum combines theoretical training, mathematical analysis, computational methods, and research activity, preparing graduates with knowledge and skills related to mathematical modelling, statistics, data analysis, informatics, and problem-solving in scientific and professional fields. At the same time, it provides a strong background for postgraduate studies and research activity.
