The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of the University of Crete consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide modern interdisciplinary education in materials science and engineering, with emphasis on the study, design, development, and application of advanced materials and nanotechnologies. The curriculum combines theoretical training, laboratory education, and research activity, preparing graduates with knowledge and skills related to electronic materials, polymers, biomaterials, nanomaterials, and their technological applications in industry, energy, healthcare, and modern technologies.
