The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Philosophy of the University of Crete consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide comprehensive scientific education in the fields of philosophy, history of philosophy, ethics, epistemology, and philosophical analysis, with emphasis on the development of critical thinking, academic inquiry, and theoretical reflection. The curriculum combines theoretical training, research activity, and an interdisciplinary approach, preparing graduates with knowledge and skills related to philosophical research, the analysis of ideas and texts, teaching, and contribution to academic and cultural dialogue. At the same time, it promotes scientific ethics, cultural education, and lifelong learning.
