The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Political Science of the University of Crete consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide comprehensive scientific education in political science, with emphasis on the study of political institutions, political behaviour, international relations, public administration, and contemporary political and social developments. The curriculum combines theoretical training, methodological education, and research activity, preparing graduates with knowledge and skills related to political analysis, public policy making, international politics, political communication, and the operation of public and private organizations. At the same time, it promotes critical thinking, democratic awareness, and an interdisciplinary approach.
