The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Preschool Education of the University of Crete consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide high-quality scientific and pedagogical education for the preparation of preschool educators with modern knowledge, teaching skills, and social awareness. The curriculum combines theoretical training, teaching practice, and research activity, promoting understanding of child development and learning in early childhood, the creation of appropriate learning environments, and the implementation of modern pedagogical approaches. At the same time, it promotes critical thinking, collaboration with families and the community, and the use of modern technologies in the educational process.
