The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Computer Science of the University of Crete consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide high-level scientific and technological education in computer science, with emphasis on the theoretical foundations of computing, software development, information systems, and modern computational technologies. The curriculum combines theoretical training, laboratory education, and research activity, preparing graduates with knowledge and skills related to programming, algorithms, databases, computer networks, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and distributed systems. At the same time, it promotes analytical thinking, innovation, and the ability to solve complex technological problems.
