The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Applied Informatics of the University of Macedonia consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide high-level scientific and technological education in informatics and its applications, with emphasis on software development, information systems, data science, and digital technologies. The curriculum combines theoretical training, laboratory education, and applied skills, preparing graduates with knowledge related to programming, databases, computer networks, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and information systems management. At the same time, it promotes analytical thinking, innovation, and the ability to solve complex technological problems in the modern digital environment.
