The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia consists of eight (8) academic semesters and corresponds to 240 ECTS credits. The programme aims to provide high-level artistic, scientific, and pedagogical education in the fields of European classical, Byzantine, Greek traditional, and contemporary music. It seeks to train well-rounded musicians and artists with knowledge of music history, theory, practice, technology, and pedagogy, as well as skills in music creation, interpretation, performance, ensemble conducting, and research. The programme prepares graduates for careers in education, artistic and cultural institutions, music ensembles, research centres, and fields related to music technology.
