The undergraduate program of the Department of Materials Science at the University of Patras aims to provide interdisciplinary knowledge regarding the composition, structure, properties, and applications of modern materials, combining elements of physics, chemistry, and engineering. Its objective is to educate scientists capable of studying, developing, and utilizing advanced materials for applications in industry, energy, nanotechnology, biomedicine, and emerging technologies. The mission of the program is to promote scientific knowledge and research in materials science, fostering analytical thinking, laboratory skills, and innovation to address modern technological and industrial challenges.
