The Undergraduate Study Programme of the Department of Sociology at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences aims at the systematic study of society, social relations, and contemporary social phenomena through sociological theories and research methods. The programme provides interdisciplinary education in areas such as social theory, social inequality, labor, education, family, migration, cultural change, and social institutions. Particular emphasis is placed on the development of both qualitative and quantitative research and analytical skills, as well as on fostering critical thinking for understanding and interpreting social transformations. The programme prepares students for professional and research careers in fields such as education, social research, public organizations, NGOs, media, and social services.
