The Undergraduate Study Programme of the School of Mineral Resources Engineering at the Technical University of Crete aims to educate engineers with specialized knowledge in the exploitation, management, and protection of mineral and energy resources, emphasizing sustainable development and environmental responsibility. The programme combines theoretical education, laboratory training, and applied research in areas such as geology, mining, mineral processing, geotechnical engineering, energy resources, and environmental management. At the same time, it develops analytical, design, and problem-solving skills for addressing complex technical challenges, preparing graduates for careers in mining and energy industries, engineering companies, public organizations, research centers, and natural resource management agencies.
